Winners crowned at 2025 Schoenfeld competition

In the Violin Division, 22-year-old Zou Meng from China claimed the $30,000 first prize and gold medal with a performance of Sibelius' Violin Concerto. The second prize and the Best Performance of Chinese New Work were won by Chinese contestant Cui Bo.

In the Cello Division, 15-year-old Jeri Lee from South Korea performed Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme and won the $30,000 first prize and a gold medal. The Best Performance of Chinese New Work was presented to Li Runing from China.
