Commenting on the exhibition, Pan Yikui, director of the National Art Museum of China, said that Shi Pu shows a deep commitment to traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.
"His works are rooted in the soil of Chinese art, presenting the sublime landscape and infused with his love for his homeland," Pan says.
